Children's Holiday Bird Walk

Join us, Thursday, December 30th for a Children’s Bird Walk designed to introduce children ages 3 to 12 to birding by gentle instruction from an expert birder. We will be looking and listening for bird species that are commonly found at Bucktoe. The short walk will cover a variety of habitats in order for the participant to discover the connection between bird species and habitat. A children's bird identification brochure depicting the thirty most common bird species found at Bucktoe will be available at the walk. Come out and discover a hidden interest or strengthen an existing passion for bird-watching! Walks begins at 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM, with a light snack after the walk.
