Public Programs

Our guided walks allow participants to learn about the flora and fauna of Bucktoe Creek Preserve from experienced naturalists. Each walk is led with the beginning naturalist in mind, but the degree of difficulty is determined by the participants as the walks progress.

The Monday Bird Walks and Friday Botanical Hikes are free and do not require registration. These programs meet at the Sharp Road entrance. Attending one of these walks entitles you to a 1/2 price new membership to the Delaware Nature Society.

We also have various types of nature programs for children and adults through the Delaware Nature Society. You must register for these programs through the Delaware Natures Society .
